Five national social sororities participate in a formal Fall Recruitment at Truman, a series of events organized by the Panhellenic Council. Recruitment is spread out over the course of six exciting days (September 5 - September 10). Panhellenic Welcome kicks off recruitment. This is the time that a Potential New Member (PNM) meets her recruitment counselor, known as a Gamma Chi. A Gamma Chi is a sorority woman that has temporarily disaffiliated with her own chapter in order to help PNM’s throughout the recruitment process.
